As of Monday 27th September it was announced that those fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to cross the border between North and South Cyprus without needing to provide a PCR/Antigen Test but instead proof of vaccination either with an AdaPass/GreenPass or Certificate of Vaccination.
The decision was made in a meeting held by the Bi-Communal Technical Committee on Health on Thursday 23rd September and was soon after announced by the TRNC Ministry of Health. In the meeting it was decided that both sides of the island fell under Level 2 - Orange level, based on the updated epidemiological data. Those who are unvaccinated will still therefore be required to provide a PCR/Antigen test within 72 hours before crossing at the internal borders. However, if they are unvaccinated students under 18 years of age or unvaccinated and occupants of Kato Pyrgos in Guzelyurt -they may cross with a PCR/Antigen test taken within 7-days before crossing.
