NORTH CYPRUS NIGHT CURFEW LIFTED – TRNC Council Of Ministers

​As of Monday 04th October 2021, the nightly curfew from 00.00-05.00 which had been in effect for 9 months in Northern Cyprus will be lifted. This decision was made by the Council of Ministers based off of Art. 2 of the Curfew Law No.156 and was published in the Official Gazette. However, it was made clear that strict hygiene requirements must still be maintained in businesses that are open after midnight;

• Vaccine Certificate/Adapass, recovery certificate or a negative PCR/Antigen test taken within 72 hours shown at hotels and indoor catering establishments,
• face masks worn in public areas at all times,
• indoor public gatherings are prohibited, and
• Capacity requirements and social distancing requirements followed.
